According to Rep 1 Sport’s twitter, the 49ers have signed their client, WR Brett Swain.
Swain is 26 years old, six-feet tall and 200 lbs. The Green Bay Packers drafted Swain in the seventh round of the 2008 draft, and then they cut him on August 28, 2011.
Swain has caught six receptions in his two-year career, and they all came last season.
Scout.com credits Swain for being a “special teams standout.” He made three tackles in the Super Bowl against the Steelers.
