Where is the picture where Jacobs is giving the Giants the playcall/strategy to the Giants coaching staff? Because you don’t run off to the visiting teams locker room after they just beat you. I’ve never heard of that before.
Especially since he bad mouthed them for letting him go after last season. What is up with him?
Jacobs is an ass, he always has been. He was the one signing that surprised me this offseason.
On retrospect, the Giants played one of the best games I’ve seen them play in recent years and Niners played poorly. The final score is a reflection of BOTH these factors (yes, the San Francisco Giants scored more runs than the Niners scored points :( ). The second quarter pass offense of the Giants is the best I’ve seen for a while. Not only did Manning make good throws, but the receivers made superb catches. Many of these pass plays were pretty much indefensible.
The Giants are now 5-1 against the Niners in the last 6 meetings. The Niners are now 0-4 (I think) in games following a shutout victory.
The world has not ended. Level-headed analysts are still ranking Niners among the top 5 teams.

The coaches badly screwed up on this game. They will have a better game for Pete on Thursday, I’m sure. Roman has to stop thinking like a college game planner. Harbaugh has to modify his strategy that has relied on special teams playing in the top-3 in the league.
The only long-term point I took from this game is that the Niners D line is no longer capable of putting pressure on the QB consistently from game-to-game. Maybe OC’s have figured out how to defend against the Smith-&-Smith stunts. Aldon Smith will have to stop relying on Justin Smith to create opportunities for him. Fangio will have to mix in more blitzes and get more creative on defense.
I suppose this blog will now be taken over by fans with Alex-OCD :) I’ll check in again on Thursday,
