SANTA CLARA – A few Bay Area reporters approached Aldon Smith in the locker room Tuesday afternoon. We asked him if he wanted to talk about the report that he got jumped outside a restaurant in Columbus, Missouri last week. Here’s what he said.
ALDON SMITH: “Nothing happened. I said what I had to say. That’s it. I’m not talking about it. Nothing happened. Nothing happened. Nothing happened. Nothing happened. Nothing happened.”
He said it five times in a row, once to each reporter.
ME: Did anything happen?
He laughed.
ALDON SMITH: “Nothing happened.”
ME: I have a follow-up question.
ALDON SMITH: “Nothing happened.”
Q: Can you rephrase that?
ALDON SMITH: “Seriously, nothing happened.”

Aldon should receive an A.
Now can we, and I’m talking to the “fans”, drop it? Saw a question on Maioccos page asking if JH and Baalke are getting fed up and would waive Aldon…WAIVE HIM?? Sets 49ers rookie record for sacks, believe it was a half sack away from the NFL record, leads team in sacks and is playing well in run support, brings something to the team they havent had since Andre Carter and “fans” want to waive him for alleged off the field issues. As far as I can tell the only thing thats been substantiated as a problem was his party/stab. DUI was dropped and no charges filed, he was the passenger in the car when they avoided a deer and as we can see, and nothings been said otherwise by the crack investigation team in Missouri, nothing happened here. Too many “fans” would rather the team be bad just so they can complain.
Andre Carter? Is that supposed to be a joke?
Its fact. Look at the stats, watch the games. He was the last true outside pure pass rusher on the Niners. When you say a guy is the best since so and so, it doesnt mean that he’s the same guy or that he’s only as good as…it just means that he’s the best guy theyve had at getting sacks and pressure since Andre Carter.
Andre Carter was solid when the 49ers were a 4-3 team. When Nolan the Suit switched to a 3-4 then Andre didn’t fit.
Lol, this is just too funny! This is life and people are not perfect, specially when you are 21 or 22 years old!!!!
Midnight curfew avoids most of these unfortunate events.
How does that help? When he was stabbed, he was in his house…curfew doesnt do anything. Nothing happened here so why is it an issue.
And this isn’t college, this isn’t the night before game. Its the bye week, team doesn’t have any of that control.
Well, I guess Aldon kicked some azz. He made sure nothing happened! To him! Lol.
