I’m about to drive down to Santa Clara. Based on what happened yesterday and what the 49ers face this week, what would you ask Jim Harbaugh today at his press conference?
Keep in mind, Harbaugh tends not to answer questions directly.
I’m about to drive down to Santa Clara. Based on what happened yesterday and what the 49ers face this week, what would you ask Jim Harbaugh today at his press conference?

I would ask this: Jim, this is the 3rd game this season in which the team seemed to come out completely unprepared to play football, and it seemed as if the Rams were one step ahead of your coaching staff today. The Rams lost by about 40 points to New England in their last game. Any thoughts on why the team seems to be coming out flat and seemingly unprepared so often this season?
I’m going with this as my question.
How is Alex feeling? Was Culliver leaving to rush the punter on the first fake punt a call from the sideline?(He wouldn’t answer the second one but I’m curious)
Harbaugh actually did answer that in his postgame presser. He said they were going for the block, i.e. it was a sideline call.
Thanks, gw2.
After the Rams’ first successful fake punt, why were you unable to make the necessary adjustments?
@ Jack:
Do you really think the first “fake” gave the 49ers anything to prepare for? That play came about only because Culliver came off the gunner and no one moved to cover the gunner. If I were a betting man, I would bet that it wasn’t a fake called on the sideline, but more of a if-the-other-team-ever-leaves-the-gunner-completely-uncovered,-you-have-the-discretion-to-throw-him-the-ball thing that the coaches installed in training camp.
that has already been confirmed by the ram punter…the first fake was called by the punter
The Rams punter confirmed exactly that after the game. The first play was improv on his part once Culliver came crashing down. The Second play was a designed play call/trick play they had been working on in practice.
Claude,
A simple adjustment is to keep your defense on the field and replace the FS with Ginn. The first fake showed you that they were playing loose and willing to take some shots.
They didn’t adjust for it, and the Rams made them pay.
@ Jack:
I guess we’ll just have to disagree on this one. I think the first “fake” merely showed that if the 49ers were going to leave the gunner completely uncovered for an easy first down, the Rams would accept the gift they were given.
I don’t disagree with you on that first one Claude, but that doesn’t mean you don’t adjust and prepare for the possibility later.
Brad Seely has to be questioned on this one. He’s had some serious lapses (beside this week, the NFCCG comes to mind and the his handling of the punt return game) and needs to be more aware during games.
Smart couple of heads-up plays by the punter. The kid was a scout team QB at Oregon State so he can toss the ball. Excellent read both times by him. If you’re going to rush the punt and leave the gunner all alone? Throw it to him every time.
Hell, this guy’s probably better than five or six ‘pros’ like Tebow.
If Kaepernick has to play on Monday night against the Bears….will you adjust the offense and play calling for him?
Honest question for you Andrew: Do you think the Bears are asking the same thing right now? Have you ever watched a Harbaugh press conference or listened to one? Why ask a question you know there is a 1 and 1,000,000 chance (at best) of Harbaugh even acknowledging let alone answering?
Mike,
The day Harbaugh answers any football question with a substantive answer, I’ll be shocked.
What would you ask him, What’s your favourite colour? He wouldn’t even answer that one. “Lots of good colours out there. Lots of bright ones, colourful ones. Some good colours out there. I like lots of them.”
angusinCanada – I agree its hard to get answers out of him but asking if they will change the game plan for Kaep? Common man, a high school coach wouldn’t answer a scheme/game plan question like that. Obviously that’s the #1 thing Chicago has to deal with this week. Two QB’s with very different skill sets.
Mike,
I’d bet if he was asked that question, he’d say something along the lines of: “Every week we tailor the gameplan to what we think will work, what we think will result in winning a football game”. If we’re really lucky, he might add “That includes looking at what we do well, taking advantage of some things”.
Even a high school coach knows that game plans are obviously tailored by what your players can, and cannot do. If your QB can’t physically throw it over 30 yards, you’re not likely to call a lot of 35 yard posts and ins.
Same thing for the defence. If the Bears don’t tailor their defence to take into account the threat of Kaep running, their coaching staff should be fired.
If I was Harbaugh, and was asked that question, I’d answer “Of course”. When the truth is patently obvious, there’s no real point in lying about it.
I would ask two questions.
1. The defense doesnt seem to be playing with the same emotion as last year, whats up with that?
2. On the two make us a fool play, is that players fault or coaching fault?
Don’t ask him anything that is close-ended and he can answer by a yes or no.
Only open-ended such as:
Tell me about how the 9ers would change their offense with Kaep in the game if he starts next Monday?
or
Why did you choose to block the punt at that moment in the game?
*try and block the punt*
If you get away from yes or no, then the answer is “we don’t discuss scheme”.
I was under the impression that ideally you line up a field goal kick in the middle of the hash marks. A few extra yards seems like an added difficulty to a kick more than 25-30 yards. Had they done that Akers could have kicked a straight kick and the 49ers would have won. I guess I’m wondering, is that no longer coached?
Does CK have a much higher upside than AS?
Is VD upset that he does not get many passes, especially how other teams used their Tight ends, like Atlanta and New Orleans?
Why were you faked twice on punt plays? I can see the first one, second is inexcusable.
Are you concerned about our defensive line and coverage?
Why does AS , on third downs will never throw the ball for a first down to a first down marker, for example, third and 13, and he dumps the ball to Gore for 4 yard gain. WHY WHY WHY???
Does Usain Bolt have more upside than Colin Kaepernick?
lol good one. Are you saying my questions make no sense?
Neal,
No, not really. I’m just hung up on how ‘upside’ is solely correlated with running speed and arm strength. There’s other factors to ‘upside’ that aren’t as easily measurable, so they’re conveniently discounted. The QB position is largely played between the ears is my point really. If you don’t have it there, it doesn’t matter how fast you can run.
That been said, I would absolutely love if Kaep shows me he’s a good pocket passer, who can run like the wind.
AngusinCanada,
I am not fascinated with running speed and arm strength. I am interested in the intangibles, can he see the entire field, does he have pocket presence, if the primary is covered, can he look at his second and third options, without dumping it to a back for a gain of 4 when he needed 14 yards for the first down. Can he throw the ball out of bounds, instead of being sacked, and taking a big loss.He will be a work in progress because he needs big time improvement, in holding onto the ball and he did miss KW wide open, a great QB would of noticed he was not covered in the line of scrimmage, or early in the route. AS can only improve moderately, can he win a Super Bowl, it is possible but all of the parts got to be working to even consider it. The Smithers said Alex played a great game, but it was not that great because he was three and out in the first quarter. That is not a A grade, just because he was 6 for 7, we can’t forget the offense sucking in the first quarter, along with special teams and defense.
Why did CK, on 3rd and 18, only throw a 17 yard pass?
That a improvement.
Neal,
You forgot toask JH why he’s so enamored with Alex Smith.
@55
He is not enamored with him, that is why I call him slick Jim.
Dang Neal. You are on fire today!
haha Jack, Thanks
>>He is not enamored with him, that is why I call him slick Jim.
Nah, he’s just basing his coaching reputation and the team’s entire success behind some sort of public persona only detectable by Neal. That must be it.
Coach – Are you surprised that a veteran player like Dashon Goldson didn’t know the NFL overtime rules? He didn’t know you could tie.
Crab, sounds like there were a few players that didn’t know the game could end in a tie, including Amendola. Boggles my mind that guys playing the game don’t know all the rules.
It is a stupid rule, play to a win. The NFL needs to change it.
Stupid or not, it’s been a rule for many years and the fact that players don’t know it is ridiculous.
How often does this occur? It’s the fifth tie game in fifteen years. I know the rule, but it doesn’t surprise me that many players didn’t. Most of them have never been in that situation. They play until there is a winner in college, it doesn’t matter how many OT’s they have. That is how it should be.
It may or may not be a stupid rule, but the NFL recently has been averaging 1 tie game every 4 years. Less than 1/10 of 1% of all games end in a tie. It’s hardly a priority.
A game should end with a winner and a loser, college got it right.
Sean – McNabb didn’t know the overtime rules either a few years back.
I remember that Crab. That’s why it’s so strange to me that guys still don’t know the rules because McNabb was roasted for that.
It exists because of the TV contracts. The stations don’t want games to go to long and screw up their regular programming so the league limits games to a single overtime. It’s all about the money honey!
no it was change for player safety reasons
That’s exactly the line that was fed so that people that get in a tizzy when their team ties cant point to the TV contracts as the actual reason.
I think ties (and the rules allowing them) have been around longer than tv contracts…..
Which do you hate more: a tie or a loss?
Where do you think the team needs to improve the most and why?
Do you know which play was responsible for Smith’s concussion?
How’s your newborn son doing?
He said last night Smith was concussed on the fourth down quarterback sneak.
I was wondering because I watched a highlight of Smith’s last hit and it appeared that there helmet-to-helmet contact that caused his head to snap back.
…there was some helmet-to-helmet contact…
Was the Rams’ first touchdown a result of miscommunication or blown coverage?
Why are we soft on the perimeter definsively? ( how come we can’t stop the screen pass, or quick receivers) (does rogers need help)
Pass Rush??? where is it, we need to mix it up and blitz more (Bradford looked pretty cozy back there?
Does it concern JH that Kap put it on the dround twice on one drive, do we really think this guy is ready? to me there simply is no QB controversy, at least not this year.
It’s a fact they were lucky to escape with a tie, does he feel they were outplayed on there home field and why, they had twoo weeks to prepare for this game!
The coaching staff might have prepared for most of the two weeks. The players had the first 8 days off after the AZ game then came back to work last Wednesday.
I’d ask why the Niners D appears to have problems against a balanced offense that throws short a lot of short passes. The defense struggled against both the Vikings and the Rams with this sort of an offense. I understand that two data points do not make a rule but I see many similarities.
I wonder if there is an identity problem with the D. Last year, it seemed to me that they wanted to stop the run at all costs, often with DB help for run blitzes, and lived with the occasional big play. This year they appear to be trying to limit the big play and have a more “balanced” defense.
I re-watched the first half with all the plays in slo-mo. The first thing that stood out was that the Rams executed well on run blocks and employed some blocking schemes similar to the Niners. The second thing was that the Niners D did come out flat, especially the D line. Sop was pushed back several times. Justin was double-teamed effectively. The Rams’ O linemen got to the second level often.
Some may point out that Niners D looks the best when they don’t come out flat. This is the third game out of nine where the team has come out flat in some respect. That doesn’t explain the 62 yard offensive series by the Rams against the D at the end of the fourth quarter.
Simple. Answer really. Teams that stick with the run are getting into 3rd and manageable situations, and Carlos Rogers is struggling, which allows the QB to make short/quick throws and keep the chains moving. We just could not get off the field in the 3rd quarter.
Yeah, Rogers wasn’t looking sharp. Grant had made this point in a week or two ago, and I’d disagreed with him. But it seems I was wrong.
Do you think you are losing your ability to motivate your team in your second year? 49ers looked more consistently up for games last season.
Aside from the game ending in a tie, what was the most disappointing aspect of the game yesterday.
There are two farmers. One constantly waters his trees to produce beautiful green lush scenery. The other doesn’t flood his fields. Instead, he constantly underwaters his trees. They stay green all spring and to look at the two farms, it would be hard to notice a difference.
Then, when the storms hit, the winds howl, it is the second farmer whose trees are prepared. You see, underwatering a tree and challenging it, makes its roots dig deeper. It strengthens the tree. The over watered tree has shallow roots and usually falls in the first big storm and wind because it doesn’t not have a firm deep hold to the ground.
NFL coaches do the same. Mike Singletary overwatered the team. They folded in the face of adversity.
The first big storm, Chicago if Cutler starts, is Monday Night. We’ll know which farmer Harbaugh is next Tuesday.
So I would ask Harbaugh, what type of farmer are you? I think he’d get the question and answer he is the second.
The farmer who uses juiced up genetically engineered seeds is the one who loses in the end :)
Can you answer one of my poll questions? Would you take AL over AS? Just a simple yes or no will suffice.
If you say AS, can you take a lie detector test?
Neal
If JH were to take a lie detector test, I wonder what the outcome would be. Haha
The machine and person supervising the test would both implode from one of Harbaugh’s angry looks.
Homer Simpson, while hooked up to a lie detector machine, is asked by the FBI if he understood the simple instructions he was given, answers “Yes”.
Machine instantly explodes.
One of my top tv comedy moments ever…
Why, when AS is the only problem on the team, did you not win yesterday after he was injured?
Because David Akers is a much bigger issue. Next question.
“Laces out.” Lol.
Jack, you’ve been around here long enough to know the only problem is AS. With him out it should’ve been clear sailing. 80 yard td passes til the cows come home. Hopefully tongue in cheek is coming across.
You’re correct on Akers being an issue right now, but the entire special teams unit should be lumped together. They’ve taken a step back this season.
All the Rams fans in the stands pointed their beer labels to the left causing the kick to go left!
Because Akers went Ray Finkle on us. Weren’t they down 17-7 when he went out?
14-7, and they had seized the momentum.
They lost because Akers missed the kick, period.
They lost because the team came out flat period. It isn’t on just Akers. If the D had made a stand in the final minutes of regulation we wouldn’t be talking about Akers’ missed field goal attempt.
@ BigP:
First of all, they didn’t lose; the game was a tie.
Second, nothing I said had anything to do with responsibility for the outcome of the game. I merely answered a question you posed regarding the status of the game at the time Smith went out.
Third, I find it interesting that you are so willing to assign the non-win to a single event. It makes me wonder what position you took with regard to last year’s NFCCG. Somehow, I don’t think you concluded the 49ers “lost because Kyle Williams screwed up, period.”
We may not have lost Claude, but it sure feels like it.
Jim, how were the Rams able to successfully run a second fake punt on your special teams unit after having already successfully run one earlier in the game?
Why didn’t you challenge when the game clock hadn’t stopped and had run off over a minute of time?
“Coach Harbaugh, can you tell us the first five offensive plays and formations you will call vs the Bears, including the snap counts?”
OK… seriously, I would ask “Why does the usually stellar defense have so many problems with quick change of direction players like Percy Harvin, Victor Cruz and Danny Amendola?” “Do players like these have the 49ers number?”
Carlos Rogers is struggling. Next question.
Yup.
Don’t most defenders have problems with those guys?
Depends on their coverage skills and also if they can jam them at the line.
Yes, but the 49ers seem to have particular difficulty with these guys, yet seem to be able to at least control receivers like Megatron. It’s the receivers with “quickness” as opposed to just plain speed that’s burning the defense. It’s mainly Rogers, but others too.
I would ask… Can you confirm that there was a Freddie P Soft sighting this week?
How about “Coach, why is your mouth always open? Trying to catch flies?”
Oh Brodie, I so wish I had a press pass. Between that question and Matt’s farmer question it would be tremendous theater.
Why are there lapses on the defense?
I think both you and I have tried to figure out whats missing on defense – how about this one – devoid of inspiration
It doesn’t matter what you ask JH, all you’ll get back is coach talk anyway.
Under JH, the Niners have never lost 2 games in a row. It doesn’t matter who starts at QB next week, the Niners will win it.
I hope we do not depend on this stat alone for the next game!
@ Nick:
That’s a nice stat, but the 49ers did not lose yesterday.
Cal boy cannot figure out wins from loses to ties. Then he wonders why he is the dumbest guy on the blog. Only now that Neal has suddenly rectified his abysmal spelling and grammar, Cal boy hold the tittle. Congrats Nicky!
Thanks Claude
It wasn’t a loss, but it sure felt like it. The team came out flat and were out played (the o-line was out muscled) to a division bottom feeder at home. I’d expect that not to sit well with the players and coaches. Look for extra motivation and energy against Chicago.
Primate,
Have you spoken with your other identity today? Ask Axel what he thinks about CK possibly taking over from your idol AS.
If you think CK is ready to lead this team Cal boy, you and 23welcher need to get together and sing “dream on, dream away……….”
My question is, the biggest difference in defensive scheme this year is the defense is playing quite a bit more man coverage do you believe that the teams tackleing problems are related to playing less zone d and a follow up question are you considering playing more zone. i know for sure he would’nt answer the second question but i’m still curious.
How did CK not see KW wide open waiving his arms down the middle of the field. Why did he not “pull the trigger”? What was his read on that play? He appeared to be looking right down there.
After 1 and a half years in this system, CK seems to still have accuracy issues. He wasn’t even close on that wide open would be TD to VD. Is this something you see as well?
Why does CK seem to completely ignore Crabs in this offense? He was our spark and leading reciever while AS was in. Only 1 catch after that. He seemed to be looking mostly at the recievers he throws to in practice. Did you notice this?
Why did CK throw it to the middle of the field to VD for a gain of 4? VD was open forever before he finally saw him and pulled the trigger way to late. Made us burn a TO. Does he get enough reps in practice for 2 minute drill?
If you asked him that you would ask that question 50 times about smith.
I was just playin! That was the point. Whats good for Smith is good for Kap.
“Does he get enough reps in practice for 2 minute drill?”
That’s a very uninformed question. The backup takes fewer than 30% of the reps in practice. Of course he does not get enough reps in practice.
Like I said. I was just dinkin around…like half the people in here are!
Where have you been? Penalties, lackadaisical play, bonehead calls. Where have you been this year Jim?
If Rogers can’t handle quick receivers do you have someone who can or can you adjust your scheme?
Is it true if Kap was injuried you would have suited up an played QB?
@49er42 they played alot more zone last year and other than the 1st half of the championship rogers did’nt have any problems
kyle williams
Old Coach;
Thanks for this. They do seem to have problems with quick receivers this year. Maybe they are playing more of them this year. I am concerned about what Hester and Welker will do if they can’t come up with some ways of limiting their running free in the 5-15 yard range. Why are they playing less zone defense? Do they need to blitz to get a pass rush?
Who will be covering Marshall on monday night.
Grant I would like for you to ask JH about the special teams play in the Rams game! To my opinion two specific special team plays completely changed the outcome of the game! can you ask JH how come the special team was not prepared for a pass in the final mintues of the game since they had already used a similar play earlier!!! Also, what is happening with Aker this season, is he physically ok? Our defense got pushed around, what does JH believe contributed to the poor defensive execution?
Why is our defense giving up long TD drives this year?
Last year, it hardly happened. If the opponent went on a long drive, it ended in a FG attempt. This year they are ending as TD’s.
@ DS:
While I have some concerns about the defense, it is giving up fewer points/game and fewer yards/game than it did last year.
You better have some concerns after what we saw yesterday. They’ve got some serious issues.
When the offense isn’t eating up the clock like they did last year and the Defense doesn’t shorten the game with turnovers they are forced to play longer on the field. That’s the big difference between the two years.
The Niners gave up TD drives to start the Viking and Rams game. If they were yired from that, they suck.
And the Niners offense is converting 3rd downs more and they are winning the TOP battle as well. Add to that we are scoring more on offense and the red zone, and this D has been given more this year than last year. The Niners run game is historically good. In no way is the offense screwing up the defense.
DS asks, “Why is our defense giving up long TD drives this year?”
Teams have found the soft spot in the defense. It is Carlos Rogers in the Nickle against the slot receiver.
I would ask:
If Colin starts this week and plays a phenomenal game, does Alex retain his starting position? Mainly, is there any possibility of competition at QB or does Alex get to keep his job regardless?
According to MM, the answer is there is no QB competition. You are comparing a 19 – 5 record against what, yesterdays results?
If you we’re a QB who had gone 6-2 this season, got injured, then were healthy to play the following week, what would you expect?
Ask Bill Belichek. Drew Bledsoe was a pretty good QB when he went down. He was ready to play in the Super Bowl, but BB went with Tom Brady.
I get that one game doesn’t make or break a QB.
Grant asked us what we would want to ask Jim. Given Jim has always stated that every position is up for competition, it would be interesting to see if one could corner him with this question.
I’m asking you, what would you want?
@ Fourth:
Considering that he is coming off of 18-19 and 7-8 performances, I’d say that (1) Smith keeps his job and (2) there is no competition at QB.
You’re trying too hard.
7-8 performance is misleading. AS was horrible in the first quarter. 3 and out, 3 separate series, and then he does what he does best and 3rd and 14, he dumps a 4 yard pass to FG.
Claude, those were the exact facts that MM referred to when he was on live after the presser this afternoon. He then stated, there is no QB debate. AS is the starter.
“and then he does what he does best and 3rd and 14, he dumps a 4 yard pass to FG.”
Neal, there’s an article out there floating around that discussed this with JMo was asked to review the 9er offense by KTurner. You should read it to better understand the WCO.
@ Neal:
7-8 performance is misleading. AS was horrible in the first quarter.
No it isn’t, and no, he wasn’t. Your short term memory must be shot. Here’s a link to the play-by-play from the 1st quarter to help you remember what actually happened:
http://espn.go.com/nfl/playbyplay?gameId=321111025
HOF,
How many times do you hear that if you need a first down and need 14 yards , make sure the receiver runs at least 14 yards and QB throw’s it for 14 yards. AS does not do that well, that is a flaw he has very low conversion rate on third downs. For a number one draft pick you would expect better.
Neal, if it’s not there (not open) you don’t force it. A check down is still positive yds and who knows, if they break the tackle they may get the 1st down. That’s the WCO and it always has been.
In any event Claude, we were down by 14 points, and were shut out in the first quarter, typical slow start
Hofer,
AS can never find anyone open, he is horrible on third down conversions ,one thing that I see CK doing is extending the play, something AS lacks.
@ neal:
I agree that the 49ers too often suffer through slow starts, but that’s not the same thing as being horrible.
Slow start? No a horrible start by the defense.
“can never”
Neal, writing in this style lends itself to a biased pre-conceived opinion that is not open for discussion. We leave it at that.
I put some of the blame on Roman, not just your boy.
Neal, if AS can never find anyone open, how does he have a single completion, let alone a close to 70% completion percentage? You don’t like him, fine, but word your cut downs better.
You guys are asking Neal to make an arguement. The guy does not know what an arguement is let alone try and defend his opinion.
Can’t wait to hear his explanation. It will go something like this “gobble gobble jive gobble gobble”
Sean,
I am talking about third down conversions, he remains one of lowest in the league, not saying that it is AS fault every time, alot has to do with Roman. One thing I saw yesterday with CK, is he can extend plays, unlike AS who gets sacked way to often.
Sean,
The Niners are 21 in the league with third down conversions. Thankfully our defense plays great most of the time, to be able to carry the offense.
@ Neal:
Yesterday, when Smith was at QB, the 49ers were 2/5 on third down conversions; when Kaepernick was at QB, the team was 0/6.
Each QB went 1/1 on 4th down attempts.
That was yesterday, what about the entire season this year, rank 21 in third down conversions is horrible, you would expect more from a number 1 draft pick, he is not even efficient which is the new word for AS. I know you Smithers don’t like CK, but prior to that CK had only thrown 14 passes in his entire career, we would of won the game with CK at the drivers wheel, if Akers made the field goal. CK under the circumstances played admirably.
@ Neal:
No, ranking 21st is below average. Ranking 31st (like last year) is horrible. What’s with the hyperbole?
Also, do we have a breakdown between running plays and passing plays on third down conversion attempts?
I agree with you that Kaepernick played well yesterday given the circumstances. But, to the extent you are trying to argue that he currently is a better QB than Smith or that the 49ers have a better chance of winning with Kaep at QB, I strongly disagree with you. There simply is no basis for either conclusion. Smith is playing well this year and is the better QB at this time. If healthy, he’s starting.
Neal,
Here’s the 2 main reasons our 3rd down conversions are less than the league avg.
1. Our team is coached by a coach who believes in a very conservative (ie. risk averse), ball control style of football, which by and large, is working.
Taking that philosophy into account, Smith will be inclined to throw into waiting pass coverage on 3rd and 13.
2. We’re usually winning, so reason #1 becomes reinforced….prevent the big play turnover that brings the other team back into the game, take what the defense gives you, win the field position battle by ensuring each drive ends with a kick.
When teams are losing, they’ve got no choice but to be more aggressive on 3rd and 13. I don’t know the numbers, but I imagine we’re near the best in the league in avoiding turnovers. You’ve got to look at the whole picture, not a simpleton……er simplified snippet out of context.
Claude,
Yesterday I was throwing smack that CK should be the starter, I know when AS is healthy, he will be playing. I don’t understand Roman play book, he is still very green, and has a long way to go to become a top coordinator. CK needs to show the intangibles, pocket presence, looking at second and third options before throwing the ball, looking at the entire field, he lacks in all of the above, but he will be down the road a better QB than Smith, maybe not with the Niners. Who can predict the future. But he has shown to me, that he can extend a play. By going out of the pocket and hitting a receiver on the side lines.
Neal is talking about Alex as a #1 draft pick 8 years later. Like that is a point of debate. Should we bring up 7 different coordinators in 7 years or should we just move on to present day? Fricking moron!
AngusinCanada,
You have made some very good points and I know the conservative call playing is suitable to JH philosophy and AS skill level, and the third downs plays are skewed , it still drives me crazy when we need 13 yards to throw for a first down, and we have weapons with Manningham, Moss, Davis and Crabs, we should have a better ratio, than to get a screen pass for 3 yards. We still need to do much better.
Nice chatting with you Smithers today, I am out of here for a couple of days, got relatives coming in. Later Peace out
Oh and Nick and Jack too.
What’s wrong with Akers?
