We would win the game but I am not feeling as confident as you are as far as a blowout, they have a great defense and if the refs let the seacheats hold on every play it will be a closer game.
After a shaky first three drives, Kap posted a 114.6 passer rating today. Third down efficiency was not what it should be, 4 of 14 for 29%, but that was mitigated somewhat by going 2 for 2 on 4th down. On Kap’s last 7 drives, we scored 5 times (3 TD / 2 FG) and had the other two of the drives end in missed FGs. We had no punts during that section of the game. The fact that Gore was not that productive for most of the game makes that even more impressive.
AND – I should add – there were no 49er turnovers.
And no delay of games or TOs to avoid them either. Glad they got that straightened out.
Their was one Ribico in first 1/2, but yes a big improvement.

A good win but not overly optimistic about this offense being one dimensional. The running game has gone dry while Crabs looks unstoppable. Don’t think that will be enough with CK’s inconsistency from drive to drive.

OK. As I repeatedly said amidst the doom and gloom overreaction on this blog after the Seattle loss, we still had a 50/50 shot at the second seed. Now does anybody care about what happened in Seattle last week. We were in line for the second seed going into the Seattle game, and that’s where we ended up.
Now we will play probably play GB at home. I like our chances.
Seattle has to go to either Dallas or Washington next week. I think they lose either way. And, if they manage to win next week, they will face a rested Atlanta team the week after. I have a funny feeling that Atlanta will lose and once again we will face a NFC east team at the Stick in the NFC championship game.

It wasnt as bad as last week. They tried to show a highlight reel of Aldon not doing anything but all they showed were seahawks players draped all over him… every highlight they showed had a player with a handful of Aldons jersey.

Stay level-headed, today was everything we should have expected. When Roman/Harbaugh finally removed their heads from their a**es, CK went nuclear and the defense tightened. The coaches are the keys to this team’s success. Call an aggressive, balanced game like the last 3 quarters and the Superbowl is a reasonable expectation. But if Roman ventures too far to either extreme, aggressive/conservative, they’ll be done. Intriguing…
