6:15 Kaepernick runs around the left end for a one-yard gain. Third and goal from the three.
6:16 Kaepernick looks left, holds it, doesn’t see Crabtree wide open on the right side of the end zone, finally does see him and throws it too late. It’s almost intercepted.
6:16 Akers 21-yard field goal is blocked. Richard Sherman picks it up and returns it 90 yards for a touchdown. Red Bryant blocked it. 21-0 Seahawks. It would be 14-7 if Kaepernick had seen Crabtree sooner on third and goal.
6:20 James returns the kick to the SF 20. The 49ers have had the ball twice as long as the Seahawks, but they’re down 21.
6:21 Sherman breaks up a pass for Walker on first down.
6:22 On second down, Kaepernick is flagged for delay of game. That’s the second delay of game. Second and 15 from the 15.

i like it. i’m always in favor of giving the qb more autonomy. they’ve become robots in this day and age. who knows the flow of the game – the guy trying to make plays.
I think the priority now is getting out of this thing with starters in tact. At some point you have to weigh 1 game vs the rest of the season. Nothing here is worth losing a star for the playoffs.

Hate to break it to you- but our Defense is dead tired out there. They are run down at the worst time. This is why most teams dont make their starting Defensive players play 95-100% of snaps. The niners lack of substitutions during the season is coming back to bite them.
They even pointed out on NBC that players like willis and bowman were playing most special teams snaps as well. It is stupid.
No argument there. Offense, even going against a good D, is doing them no favors keeping them on the field tonight.

Ehem, you act like any criticism of the 49ers only reflects on the QB, no this is a coaching issue. Kaep was not prepared for the seahawks at home, not any way at all, they didnt prepare him for it, thats why there are constant delay of game penalties and the offense doesn’t exist in the game. Why is the defense flat because they are tired, the offense isn’t sustaining drives and the defense is getting tired out. The 49ers werent prepared for this game, instead they spent their time making silly dancing videos. This loss is not only about the QB, last week was an amazing game, this week its an appalling train wreck and Kaep will be treated like the sacraficial lamb for this game, when really he wasnt prepped for the noise.

Does anyone believe that Kaepernick even knows where the playclock is? Do the coaches even know where the playclock is? Been very slow to slap the ball has been a hallmark of the Harbaugh era, but with Kaepernick it is becoming untenable. This is clearly a major coaching flaw, and it is never corrected.
