Brandon Jacobs says he’s “rotting away” on 49ers

A fan asked Brandon Jacobs Saturday on Intsagram why the running back hasn’t posted any photos of himself on the 49ers.

Here’s how Jacobs responded: “I am on this team rotting away so why would I wanna put any pics up of anything that say niners. This is by far the worst year I ever had, I’ll tell you like I told plenty others.”

Later, Jacobs wrote this on twitter: “I don’t understand why people are angry at me because I want to do what I am paid to do. I am a competitive person, I think people should be mad if I didn’t want to play, but I forgot the people that’s pissed they don’t have a athletic bone in their body. As for all of my Instagram photos I don’t have any Niners pics, if you’ll find me some pics I’ll put them up.”

Jacobs has been rotten for years. I’m still stunned the 49ers signed him. He’s an older, slower Anthony Dixon.

They didn’t even hurt the Giants by signing him. They may have actually made the Giants better.

Maybe if he was able to achieve more then 6 yards on his 4 carries there would be a legitimate reason to want to give him more game reps. How about earning more time Jacobs you turd.

    Brandon,
If you lift your knuckles off the ground, you will hit the hole faster. It might help you with your playing time.

Jacobs was part of a bad offseason, the front office brought in nothing to really help the team. Jacobs was a stupid signing to begin with. Then they went and drafted a receiver in the 1st round that is a long term project (that is what the the last two rounds are for). They drafted a RB that was redundant with Kendall Hunter. The signed Randy Moss, who is old and the Niners don’t know how to use even at his best. Only Maningham has contributed, and not greatly at that. They better do a whole lot better next year.
