49ers sign Adam Snyder to two-year deal

The 49ers just announced they’ve signed offensive lineman Adam Snyder to a two-year contract.

Snyder spent the first seven years of his career on the 49ers before he played the 2012 season with the Cardinals. In 2011, he was the 49ers’ starting right guard, and the 78th-best guard in the NFL according to Pro Football Focus.

Before 2011, Snyder was a backup at guard, center, and even tackle. Before the 49ers signed Jonathan Goodwin in 2011, Snyder was the 49ers’ center in training camp.

Do you think there’s a chance Snyder wins the center job in training camp this year, or is he just a backup?

Is this a good signing? Why or why not?
