  1. Looks like things are getting acrimonious in Seattle between the team and Lynch. Disruption in paradise.

    1. Skipping a few practices probably isn’t such a bad thing for those aging legs.

    2. He’s a big part of that offense. I know I wouldn’t mind seeing him elsewhere, preferably out of the NFC completely.

I wonder if he’s asking Charles money. What were the figures on that deal anyway?

  2. Here comes the ‘Fly-Sweep’!

    1. I don’t know why they went away from that play. It was effective. I’d like to see the Ghost motion more as well. Just to give the defense something to think about.

      1. Yeah. I thnk we saw way more pre-snap shifts and motion 2 years ago.

Defenses never knew what was coming.
        .
I guess it was too much for the offense to digest.
        .
Maybe that’s why plays weren’t getting off in time.

        I dunno…

  3. I have a good feeling about Ellington. I think this guy can get behind defenses. Speedy receivers cause Seattle problems -see Indy game last year (TY Hilton).

  4. I don’t know if he is all that fast but he will certainly get separation. I too also have a good feeling about him. I think he will pass Patton on the depth chart this season. To be an effective point guard you have to have the gift for spacial recognition. This ability to anticipate player spacing and positioning should help him to find the proper angles to utilize his quickness and get himself open. Court awareness transferred into field awareness. Best thing about him is he is supposed to have really good hands.

  5. Who knows on Lynch? I can’t believe that he and the hags won’t get something together, but here are two things I heard discussed in media Friday:
1/ Although Paul Allen might be the single richest owner in the NFL, according to Ed Werner on ESPN, he is quite strict at budgeting and keeping his GM to the budget. Like the Niners, they have signed people and have some other big signings looming. They need an organized approach to manage the cap, and like the Niners, they’ve done a pretty good job lately. Re-doing Lynch now could upset their plans.
2/ Michael Robinson was on NFL.com as a guest and he said not to underestimate Marshawn’s plan and resolve. He said ML is fairly smart about money issues and he isn’t just trying this as a whim. He said the determination that makes Lynch hard to bring down is all through him as a guy.
    TBD

    1. Tuna, ML definitely marches to the beat of a different drummer. His appearance at the White House and Espys certainly confirmed that. I do hate last minute surprises . . .
