49ers @ Buccaneers live blog: Fourth quarter

This is the live blog for the fourth quarter of the 49ers’ Week 15 game against the Buccaneers. I’ll update this frequently with information and analysis from my living room.

12:25 Glennon play fakes and hits a wide open Tim Wright over the middle of the field for a 24-yard touchdown. 20-14 Niners six seconds into the fourth quarter.

12:28 Gore gains five yards on a first-down counter. McCoy is injured.

12:30 He walks off the field.

12:41 On third-and-6 from the Bucs’ 29, Kaepernick avoids a sack, scrambles, breaks a tackle and gains 10 yards. If he had gotten sacked, that would have left a very tough field goal for Dawson. That may have been the play of the game. Earlier in the drive, Kaepernick converted a third-and-12 by scrambling to his right and throwing a pass off his back foot like a shortstop in the hole. Crabtree caught it for a gain of 14.

12:44 It’s first-and-goal at the 9 at the 49ers take their second timeout of the half.

12:47 On third-and-goal from the 5, Kaepernick throws a quick pass to Davis and he’s tackled after a two-yard gain. Dawson makes the short field goal. 23-14 Niners.

12:49 The Bucs try a reverse on the kick return and fumble and Kendall Hunter recovers and scores a touchdown. 30-14 Niners. Fire Schiano now.

12:56 Glennon throws four incompletions and the Bucs turn it over on downs. 49ers’ ball at the Bucs’ 26.

1:01 Dawson makes a 35-yard field goal. 33-14 Niners with 2:49 left.

1:04 The Bucs go three-and-out again. Willis sacks Glennon on third down and Aldon Smith sacks him on third down. The Bucs have 183 net yards in this game.

1:07 The Bucs go for it on fourth-and-26, Tim Wright tips the pass and Eric Reid picks it off at the Bucs’ 22. The 49ers win 33-14. Stay tuned for grades.
