8:35 The 49ers’ inactives are Tramaine Brock, Dan Skuta, Bruce Ellington, Dillon Farrell, Quinton Patton, Josh Johnson and Ian Williams.

8:37 Quinton Dial will start for Ian Williams. Aaron Lynch will start for Skuta. Perrish Cox will start for Brock.

8:38 The Giants’ inactives are CB Mike Harris, LB Jacquian Williams, G Adam Snyder, DE Kerry Wynn, T James Brewer, G Brandon Mosley and DT Cullen Jenkins.

8:39 DT Mike Peterson will start for Jenkins. LB Mark Herzlich will start for Jacquian Williams.

8:52 The 49ers’ pass defense should be vulnerable — only six cornerbacks are healthy and active for this game — Perrish Cox, Chris Culliver, Dontae Johnson and Leon McFadden. But the Giants’ offensive line is makeshift, so the 49ers should get pressure on Eli Manning.

  1. Coach C. has gotten his team up and game-planned well many times against the Niners. I would think they see some vulnerabilities. SF better be on its game in Jersey.

  2. Its not Eli’s fault the NY Giants have a losing record. Cox, Culliver, Johnson (and McFadden on ST) leaves the 49ers one owie from catastrophe.

  3. Krap, no TV guess I am having to watch the Chiefs/Hawks game and listen to the Niner game. Go Niners Go Chiefs Go Lions Go Eagles.
