As you know, Jim Harbaugh said yesterday on his conference call that “it’s possible” Michael Crabtree could practice this week.
I would like to discuss what I think he meant by “possible.”
The way he said it on the phone, it sounded like he was giving a no comment. He was monotone and he clearly wanted to get past the question, so he said the vaguest, most non-committal response he could think of. “It’s possible” is something you tell a toddler who’s crying to go to the circus.
The way I heard it, it could happen but it also could not happen.
Michael Crabtree’s status is still completely up in the air.
