Mike Singletary has a detailed scouting report on Rams safety Oshiomogho Atogwe. Since becoming a full-time starter in 2006, Atogwe’s combination of forced fumbles (16) and interceptions (17) are the most in the NFL.

Niners running back Frank Gore was named the NFC offensive player of the week on Tuesday, despite missing the final seven minutes of the 49ers’ win against the Seahawks with a right ankle sprain.

Former 49ers PR assistant and current Fox analyst Brian Billick was at practice today, as the 49ers had their last significant work day before Sunday’s game against the Seahawks.
