Sorry, 49ers fans, I’m planning to violate two of your strongest taboos, and maybe a third. I can’t wait to see a movie about the Raiders, Los Angeles and gangsta rap.

In the wake of Patrick Willis’ contract extension, a lot of people have been talking about the NFL’s 30-percent rule. Apparently, it means that 30 percent of all NFL media coverage must be devoted to Willis. Here are some highlights from the linebacker’s voice time on KNBR and ESPN News.

It runs Monday at 5 p.m. and again Tuesday at 8 a.m. And if you’re really jonesing for some ball, tune in for Iowa Barnstormers vs. Orlando Predators, on the Network this Friday at 5 p.m.

John Madden, the ground-breaking and often-imitated second man in the booth, has decided to retire from broadcasting, NBC Sports chair Dick Ebersol announced this morning.
