Rookie outside linebacker Ezra Butler, whom the 49ers signed as an undrafted free agent, was arrested for DUI drugs and possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) after a traffic stop in Reno on Saturday night.
The Reno Gazette-Journal reported Butler was suspended for one game last season for using marijuana. The 49ers are gathering information about the incident over the weekend. When the club makes a statement, we'll deliver it here.
