    1. That’s exactly what I was thinkng when I read that.

Could be just a sprain though.

  1. Apparently he walked to the locker room unaided without a noticeable limp. Sounds more like a sprain (and maybe a mild one at that) than a tear.

    1. I tore my ACL and MCL back in ’96 during a softball game.

I also walked off under my own power and drove myself home…in a Pontiac Fiero, no less (tight fit).

      1. I shredded my patella tendon in a softball game. I could not walk at all, since my knee was about 8 inches where it should be.

    1. With great power comes great responsibility. I’ve learned my lesson.

Hope he’s ok. Walking off the field without a limp is a positive sign.

  2. May have hyperextended his knee. If so, should be okay. If a sprain, could be serious and leave him open for a worse, more aggravating injury later on. Let’s hope this invaluable spark of speed-with-yards holds up.

  3. I guess the good fortune ( lack of injuries) of the 2011 season is trying to even itself out through all the injuries during the last couple of seasons. Somebody tell the fates to stop, it’s even already
