SANTA CLARA — Kendall Hunter just injured his right knee during a seven on seven drill. He caught a pass in the flat, tried to juke and make Perrish Cox miss and Hunter’s right knee buckled. He stayed on the ground for five minutes and then walked to the locker room.
Darn. Hope it’s nothing serious.
Sounds like an ACL. Unfortunate. Hopefully nothing’s torn.
That’s exactly what I was thinkng when I read that.
.
Could be just a sprain though.
.
Cross your fingers until the MRI.

The attrition begins……
Apparently he walked to the locker room unaided without a noticeable limp. Sounds more like a sprain (and maybe a mild one at that) than a tear.
I tore my ACL and MCL back in ’96 during a softball game.
.
I also walked off under my own power and drove myself home…in a Pontiac Fiero, no less (tight fit).
.
So…we really don’t know…

I shredded my patella tendon in a softball game. I could not walk at all, since my knee was about 8 inches where it should be.
I knew it…Rocket jinxed him with all that trade talk…you happy now?!
With great power comes great responsibility. I’ve learned my lesson.
Hope he’s ok. Walking off the field without a limp is a positive sign.
May have hyperextended his knee. If so, should be okay. If a sprain, could be serious and leave him open for a worse, more aggravating injury later on. Let’s hope this invaluable spark of speed-with-yards holds up.
Never too much depth.
Not at the running back position……..
Perhaps we have somone better then Hunter who is becoming injury prone.
Better is debatable, but we got some talent there.
I guess the good fortune ( lack of injuries) of the 2011 season is trying to even itself out through all the injuries during the last couple of seasons. Somebody tell the fates to stop, it’s even already
