  1. O-line (and I mean this because of the domination they bring and continuity)
    The whole 49ers o-line.

    D-line
Watt, Williams, and Jolly in the middle

Lb’s A Smith, Willis, Bowman, and I’d move Mathews to the right behind watt.

    Cb’s
Pains me to say it, browner, and Sherman… Yuck

    Safties
    Thomas, and Polamalu

    Receivers
    Jackson, Fitz, megatron

    TE
    VD of course

    RB
    AP

    Qb Tom Brady.

      1. ninermd, which Polamalu have you been watching? He’s been dreadful. Good instincts still, so he has 1 or 2 highlight plays a game. Otherwise, complete liability.

  2. So, must be a 43 Under, I guess. Vernon is the TE I’d take; Homer? Maybe, but he’s more well rounded. You can’t go too far wrong with Graham though.

I substituted another OLB for a Slot corner.

      1. How does Andy Lee not make the cut!!!!!!!???????????.
im sure the kid from the rams is good, but lee has been really good for , like a decade.

    SPECIAL TEAMS

    P: Johnny Hekker – Rams.
    K: Graham Gano – Panthers.
    PR: Devin Hester – Bears.
    KR: Trindon Holliday – Broncos.

I left a lot of the players the same. Did change a little. Most glaring is tyrann as my slot guy. And the removal of the insanely overrated Patrick Peterson.

    1. I like this team. I would have had Clady and Atkins on my team if they were healthy but that’s an arbitrary condition in this exercise.

      1. And Pouncey. I did mine assuming all are 100%, which may not be the case. Many will probably argue the fact Lee is in over Willis, but lee is arguably the best ilb this season. Tied for the lead in ints and up there In tackles too.

      2. I would argue that Lee plays on a poor defense, thus filling up the stat sheet like a shooting guard does on a poor Basketball team. Willis and Bowman ARE FIGHTING each other for tackles. And i guarantee you one thing…..Megatron would have never carved 300+ yards off of this team. Willis would have covered him one on one….and knocked his @55 out of the game the first time he caught a short one underneath !

  5. Who would be your head coach? I would go with Sean Payton. I know he is not a boy scout, but he can coach. Although he lost against the Jets, that sucks.

      1. I like calvin and dez. But i would go with either Brandon Marshall or Damarius Thomas. or even Julio over Cruz. I could see Dez or demarius playing the slot

  6. I’m surprised Grant didn’t pick Tony Romo at QB.

LILB: Sean Lee over Patrick Willis?
WR: Diva Bryant over AJ Green or Julio Jones?

    No Aldon Smith?

    1. Yes, Aldon would be a much better D-end than Von Miller. Miller may be a better OLB. I woild like to see them both on the field together

  7. QB – Aaron Rodgers
    HB – Shady McCoy
    WR – Calvin Johnson
    WR – Andre Johnson
    TE – Vernon Davis
    TE – Rob Gronkowski
    LT – Joe Staley
    LG – Evan Mathis
    C – Max Unger
    RG – Alex Boone
    RT – Anthony Davis

    3-4 Defense

    DE – JJ Watt
    NT – Gerald McCoy
    DE – Calais Campbell
    OLB – Von Miller
    ILB – Patrick Willis
    ILB – Navorro Bowman
    OLB – Aldon Smith
    CB – Darrelle Revis
    CB – Richard Sherman
    FS – Jairus Byrd
    SS – Eric Berry

    1. Naw. Maybe he should NOT have played the colts game, in hindsight. But i think they set the bar by sending him ti rehab. I was telling a friend at work that i hoped Goodell takes it easy on him ( suspension wise) for checking into rehab. Its about rehabilitation right? Getting better as a person. Not continuing to make the same mistakes. To better yourself as a person so you can represent your team, city and employer (NFL) with dignity. It shouldnt be about punishment, it should be about getting better.

Anyway, after talk with said friend at work, i read some comments from Goodell indicating he and i werent far off with our thoughts.

    2. E,

I think they mishandled the Smith situation by letting him play against Indy, but they have done a nice job since then. I hope he gets in there on Sunday and plays well, and can stay clean and be successful in whatever he does from here on out.

      1. E,

Just over 48 hours before the game he was so drunk he passed out in his car and was arrested. Forget the legal stuff, I just don’t see how he can play up to his potential in that condition.

      2. Jack,
These are not choir boys they are pro football players that party like rock stars on occasion. I’ve personally known pro athletes that get high before and during the game not to mention all the legal drugs they ingest that are provided by the team doctors. Trust me, there are guys with hangovers every day on the field in the NFL and they still suit up and play. Ever see North Dallas 40?
