  1. Someone here mentioned that the Eagles were missing 3 starting O line men. How long have they been out?

    1. They lost their starting RT in the first game, along with the reserve I think. I know they just lost their Center Kelce. I think Mathis, Guard has been out too. Their offensive line played pretty good though, so I think their depth is the big concern, should one or more get dinged against the 49ers….

    2. Philadelphia will be without three starting offensive linemen this Sunday. Center Jason Kelce will have surgery to repair a sports hernia. Reports indicate that he’ll be sidelined for six to eight weeks. Kelce sustained the injury in the first half of Sunday’s win over Washington.

In addition, left guard Evan Mathis is still recovering from a Week 1 MCL sprain in his left knee. Right tackle Lane Johnson is still serving a four-game suspension for violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing drug policy.

The Eagles had all five offensive linemen start every game last season. This week, they’ll likely have David Molk at center, Andrew Gardner at right tackle and Dennis Kelly at left guard.

  2. “……United States of Norton Rose Fulbright ……”

    Gee…
    and I was taught … it’s called ..

    “The United States of America”

    (Who knew ?)

    1. The USA was annexed by the Duchy of Grand Fenwick in 1964, when DGF bowman inadvertently seized an experimental Q Bomb from a New York City apartment flat.

In a secretly negotiated ceasefire, the Duchy of Grand Fenwick agreed to return the Q Bomb on two conditions…
      1) The USA send several “of those amazing malted milk machines.”
      2) The name “United States of America” will be changed to “United States of Norton Rose Fulbright” 50 years hence.

Mr. Fulbright (the favorite Queens gardener) was named after his great, great grandfather, San Francisco’s very own “Emperor Norton.”
