Rogers on Rams offense: “Different coaches, different players. It’s going to be a challenge.”

SANTA CLARA – Carlos Rogers spoke in the media tent Wednesday afternoon. Here’s what he said about the Rams offense.

Q: How does Sam Bradford look on film?

ROGERS: He looks pretty good. He looks better and the team looks better. Different coaches, different players. It’s going to be a challenge. Any time you play a division game, it’s going to be a challenge no matter if we’re on our field or their field. It’s a rivalry.

Q: Does the Rams offense still pound the ball a lot with Steven Jackson?

ROGERS: I wouldn’t say it’s a lot, but at the same time they give him the ball. They have another running back [Daryl Richardson]. He’s more of an outside runner. He’s quicker and faster. Steven Jackson’s still a power back but he can bounce it, he can make a move. He’s a tough runner and he was the face of their organization. When we face him, we know he’s a challenge in the running game and the passing game.
