Sonoma State plans to honor Larry Allen

The time hasn’t been set yet, but Sonoma State will hold a banquet in honor of Larry Allen, who played football for SSU in 1992 and 1993 and was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday.

His schedule will heat up dramatically after the announcement but it will easier than you think. Allen lives in the Blackhawk community in the East Bay. He will be a volunteer offensive line coach for De La Salle High School this coming football season. Allen has a son, Larry III, who will be a senior this fall at DLS.

Larry is only 16 but a growing boy, already 6-foot-5, 270 pounds.
