Gil Brandt isn’t too worried about Kaepernick
Gil Brandt was the vice president of player personnel for the Dallas Cowboys from 1960-1989. More than ever Brandt believes the NFL is a quarterback-driven league. “The first thing you always look for in a team,” Brandt said, “is your quarterback OK?” Meaning the quarterback is talented and productive and stable. What about the 49ers’ quarterback? “He is better than OK,” Brandt said with a smile.
