This is the live blog for the fourth quarter of the 49ers’ Week 17 game in Arizona against the Cardinals. I will update this frequently with information and analysis from my living room.

3:53 Davis beats Powers for a 26-yard catch on first down, and then the 49ers’ go three-and-out. Kaepernick gains two yards on a read-option run, then gets sacked by Calais Campbell for a six-yard loss. After the punt, the Cardinals have the ball at their 9.
4:35 James returns the kickoff 45 yards to the SF 40.
4:00 Brooks tackles Mendenhall for one-yard loss on third-and-1, and then Jay Feeley misses his second field goal of the day. 49ers’ ball at the Cardinals’ 33.
4:05 Dan Williams sacks Kaepernick for a 13-yard loss on first down and the 49ers go three-and-out. Lee shanks the punt — it travels just 30 yards. Cardinals ball at their 40 down 7 with 5:48 left in the fourth quarter.
4:11 On third-and-13, Carson Palmer throws a 34-yard touchdown to Andre Roberts, who beat Tramaine Brock. The play is being reviewed. Roberts beat Brock for a 15-yard catch earlier in the drive.
4:14 The refs confirm their ruling. It’s a touchdown 17-16 Niners.
4:15 Feely makes the extra point. 17-17 with 3:20 left.
4:21 The 49ers’ face second-and-2 at the Cardinals’ 38 after the two-minute warning.
4:24 Gore gains no yards up the middle and the Cardinals take their first timeout. Third-and-two.
4:25 Kaepernick throws a low pass to Patton on a slant and Patton drops it.
4:25 Dawson makes the 56-yard field goal with 1:45 left. 20-17 Niners.
4:27 Dawson boots it to the back of the end zone. Touchback.
4:29 Palmer completes a 24-yard pass over the middle to Housler. First-and-10 at the Cardinals’ 45. 1:07 left.
4:32 Fitzgerald beats Rogers for 23 yards. Cardinals ball at the 49ers’ 32.
4:32 Feely is on the field to attempt a 48-yarder and Justin Smith is flagged for delay of game. So it’s a 43-yarder. And he makes it. 20-20 with 29 seconds left.
4:40 Kaepernick completes an 18 yard pass to Boldin. Timeout SF.
4:40 Kaepernick follows that up with a Delay penalty. First and 15 at the 49ers’ 49.
4:41 Kaepernick throws a perfect pass down the right sideline to Patton for 27 yards. Patton jumped and caught it over Antoine Cason.
4:42 Dawson makes the 40-yard field goal attempt. 49ers win 23-20. The 49ers will go to Green Bay to play the Packers next weekend. Stay tuned for grades.
