A look in May at all 32 quarterback situations

Remember when I wrote I wasn’t going to post a blog entry for a while? Well, I lied.

 

This one didn’t take much work. The NFL today sent out a list of every team’s situation at quarterback. The 49ers are one of three teams in the league with five quarterbacks currently on their roster, and they’re one of five teams with two rookies.

 

The club signed undrafted rookie Kirby Freeman of Baylor (coach Mike Singletary’s alma mater), but it is uncertain whether he will go to training camp with the club. He took part in the 49ers’ minicamp last weekend, as veteran Damon Huard did not participate.
