Mike Singletary held his Wednesday press briefing this morning.
First, let’s hit on the team’s preliminary injury report for today:
Return specialist Allen Rossum (ankle) and safety Dashon Goldson (knee) are out.
Receivers Josh Morgan (groin) and Arnaz Battle (foot) are scheduled to return to limited practice.
Linebacker Patrick Willis (ankle), cornerback Walt Harris (hamstring) and linebacker Takeo Spikes (just resting) are not scheduled to practice today, but the team expects them to be ready to play Sunday’s game.

Singletary said he expects this to be a black-and-blue kind of game, as the Bills have a physical team and a large offensive line. When asked if his offensive line can thrive in that kind of game, Singletary answered that the line gets excited about the prospects of such a game.

The 49ers locker room is opening after a walk-through practice in the rain here in Santa Clara. I’ll be checking back in a little later in the day.
