Now that free agency is winding down, ESPN just came out with an NFL offseason power ranking, and the 49ers are not No.1
Five ESPN writers participated in the voting – John Clayton, Dan Graziano, Jamison Hensley, Ashley Fox and Mike Sando – and not one of them ranked the Niners No.1.
Clayton, Hensley and Sando all ranked the Seahawks No.1. Graziano picked the Falcons No.1, presumably because they signed running back Steven Jackson, and Fox picked the Broncos No.1, presumably because they signed Wes Welker.
Clayton, Graziano and Sando ranked the Niners No.2. Fox ranked the Niners No.3. Hensley ranked the 49ers No.4.
