How good is Tony Romo really?
Yes, Romo’s been to three Pro Bowls and he throws for lot of yards. But he seems to crack in pressure moments, like Sunday night when he threw the interception to lose the game for Dallas.
He did exactly what Jim Harbaugh would not have let Alex Smith do on Sunday – lose the game. In that way, Romo and Smith are opposites. Romo throws a lot and takes risks and wins or loses the game for his team. Smith rarely throws, and when he does the passes are low risk or no risk. As long as he doesn’t throw the pick that loses the game, he’s doing his job.
