Santa Clara County Superior Court Judge William Elfving dismissed a lawsuit brought by Cedar Fair LP against the 49ers, the city of Santa Clara and the city redevelopment agency alleging that the stadium backers had skirted the environmental-review process.
Chase Stuart, writing the for New York Times’ Fifth Down blog, calculates each NFL team’s “functional age” in 2009 and reports that the 49ers tied for ninth youngest at 26.9 years. They were even younger on offense – and the number could dip further if Anthony Davis and Mike Iupati get up to speed quickly.
