This will make you nostalgic. . .

which is probably why it would be a good idea to head down to Santa Clara on July 23rd. To celebrate the team’s 30th anniversary of their first Super Bowl victory – 30 years ago! – the 49ers will host a free ticketed event beginning at 8:30 p.m. on their practice field.

There will be a special screening of the 49ers’ first SB victory, with pre-movie and intermission entertainment for those in attendance.  Niner fans will be able to meet 49er alumni.

Fans are encouraged to bring their own blankets and law chairs. Hot dogs, popcorn candy and other movie theater stuff will be available. No cooler or outside food and beverages will be allowed.

The event is expected to end around 11:15 p.m.

Go to 49ers.com for further information.

Go to the event, but be warned. It’s been eight years since the 49ers last winning season. So this kind of nostalgia, it could sting a little bit.

On the other hand, if the lockout is still going on, the movie might be the highlight of your summer.
