Here’s my story on rookie RB Anthony Dixon that ran in today’s Press Democrat.
Amusing backstory: PD copy editor Robert Rubino told me that when he read in my lead that Dixon “carried, shed or pushed” a host of Houston players the final 25 yards of his now-famous run, he figured I was either exaggerating or misspeaking. So Robert went the extra mile and called up the YouTube video. He said he could only laugh when he realized that Dixon did, indeed, abuse those Cougars for a full 25 yards.
