Carlos Rogers is the 49ers best one-on-one coverage guy. Last week he had to cover Jason Witten a lot since no one else on the team could. This week he’ll have to stick to rookie wide out A.J. Green – no helping Whitner with the tight end. But Rogers might need help himself with Green – an athletic freak and a future perennial pro bowler. You can be sure Dalton will throw fades to Green when the Bengals are in the red zone, and you’ve got to wonder if there’s anything the Niners can do to stop that play. Rogers can’t stop it by himself.
