SANTA CLARA – Dashon Goldson said at his locker this afternoon that he doesn’t expect to play this Sunday.
Here’s everything he said.
Q: How’s your knee?
GOLDSON: I’ve had some good days and I’ve had some not so good days. It’s not where it needs to be in order to play for us in this game. I think they might hold me back.
Q: So you don’t expect to practice this week?
GOLDSON: It’s already Thursday. They’ve already gotten the gameplan. So as far as who’s going to play this week, I’m sure they’ve got everybody accounted for already. So no.
Q: Would you be ready for the next game?
GOLDSON: It’s definitely a possibility. We’re going to leave it up to the trainers and they’ve got a plan for me. I’ll stick with the plan.
Q: What exactly is the injury?
GOLDSON: I can’t tell you exactly what this injury is. It’s just some irritation going on in my knee. It’s just inflamed pretty much.
