Day 2: Busy day ahead

Today is the day that I’ll try to become a photon.

There is so much going on today at the NFL scouting combine, I’ll need to be at least two places at once. At 7 a.m. (PT), Mike Singletary takes the podium to answer questions. He’ll be followed 15 minutes later by GM Scot McCloughan.

Then, at various times throughout the day, the room will be filled with draft-eligible quarterbacks, wide receivers and running backs. I wish I could take it all in, but that will be nearly impossible.

Meanwhile, the league’s certified agents will be meeting, too.

Again, let me know what interests you, and I’ll try to be several places at once.

Yesterday, I was almost several places at once, as I narrowly avoided getting splattered on the asphalt a block from Lucas Oil Stadium. Although I prefer to walk, it’s just way too cold and dangerous out there. Paul Kuharsky was kind enough to be my chauffeur this morning on the eight-block journey to the hub of the combine activities.
