Apparently the Cowboys concussed Alex Smith on Sunday.
The 49ers just released their Wednesday injury report, and it looks like this:
Out (Definitely will not play): WR Braylon Edwards (knee), RB Moran Norris (fibula)
Limited participation in practice: Michael Crabtree (feet)
Full participation in practice: CB Tramaine Brock (hand), QB Alex Smith (concussion)
I didn’t notice any concussion symptoms when Smith spoke after the game or when he spoke this afternoon. He sounded normal to me, but I’m no concussion expert.
Since Smith practiced fully today, expect he will play this Sunday in Cincinnati.
Don’t expect to see Braylon Edwards before the Niners Bye week in a month. According to Matt Maiocco, Edwards tore his meniscus against Dallas. The tear required a surgery similar to the one Reggie Smith had on August 8.
