I can confirm the Vikings’ Adrian Peterson has arrived. At a little before 10 a.m., local time, he brushed past me in the press box on his way to the locker room downstairs. The press box is on street level. A lot of players enter through the press box and then take the stairs to the field level.

49ERS INACTIVES: Nate Davis (third QB), WRs Brandon Jones and Jason Hill, DB Marcus Hudson, LB Marques Harris, C Cody Wallace, S Curtis Taylor, DL Ricky Jean-Francois.
The 49ers have obviously decided that Jones, though completely healthy, still is not ready to make a contribution by breaking into the receiver mix. Arnaz Battle is the team’s No. 3 wideout, and Spurlock is still the specialty guy.
