The 49ers will meet with slot cornerback Tyrann Mathieu in Santa Clara on April 9 according to the Sacramento Bee and CSNBayArea, both of which cite a league source.
Does this news make you think the 49ers are more or less likely to draft Mathieu, and why?
The 49ers need a slot cornerback, and Mathieu is one of the best ones in the draft. He probably could cover the slot for the Niners from Day 1. He’s currently projected to be drafted in the second round.
