The Cardinals just beat the Seahawks and that means two things for the 49ers, one good and one bad.
THE GOOD: If the 49ers beat the Falcons on Monday Night and beat the Cardinals Week 17, and the Seahawks lose their last game to the Rams, the 49ers win the division. And if all of that happens plus the Falcons beat the Panthers Week 17, the 49ers will be the No.1 seed. In that case, there would be at least one more game at Candlestick.
THE BAD: If the 49ers lose to the Falcons, the 49ers will be in jeopardy of missing the playoffs altogether. They’d have to beat the Cardinals in Arizona Week 17 to make the playoffs.
