49ers 2023 Schedule Release

7:25 The 49ers will have the second most travel miles in the NFL in 2023. San Francisco’s 29,958 miles will trail only Seattle’s 31,600.

7:30 The NFL has confirmed the 49ers will host the Dallas Cowboys in week 5 on Sunday Night Football. This marks the first prime time game for this rivalry since 1990.

San Francisco’s NFC championship game rematch with Philadelphia has been set for week 13 at Lincoln Financial Field.

7:35 If rumors prove true the 49ers will have a busy holiday schedule. Unconfirmed reports have the 49ers traveling to Seattle for a Thanksgiving night tilt and hosting the Baltimore Ravens on Christmas night.

7:55 According to an unconfirmed report San Francisco will travel to Minnesota in week 7 for a Monday Night Football matchup.

10:55 According to Warren Sharp, the 49ers will host the New York Giants in week 3 on Thursday Night Football.

12:46 Several schedule leaks are showing the 49ers opening on the road against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

2:53 Several leaks have shown the 49ers travel to Cleveland for week 6.

3:00 a pair of unconfirmed NFC West games come late in the season. These leaks have the 49ers visiting Arizona in week 15 and wrapping up the regular season at home against the Rams.

  1. With 5 East coast games plus Minnesota on the road, it would not surprise me to if the team stayed back there more then just one time. Right now , that is a lot of flying coast to coast. It will be interesting to c how the NFL scheduled the NFC west since all 4 teams play basically the same opponents.

    KS has said he is not sure if the 9ers will continue staying on the east coast between 2 east coast road games. He said the players have complained of exhaustion caused by not sleeping in their own beds. I imagine many of them have custom beds in their homes.

  3. I wouldn’t be surprised if the team remained back there more than once considering that they have five East Coast games and Minnesota on the road. That is a lot of coast-to-coast flying at the moment. Since all four teams in the NFC West face essentially the same opponents, it will be interesting to see how the NFL arranged the division.
