  1. Injuries decimated the Steeler offense, and Rudolph regressed with too many picks.
    .
Browns managed not to make mistakes, so they did not beat themselves.
    .
The end of the game was a travesty. I expect suspensions from it.
    .

  2. If only Jimmy can get his head into the game like Rudolph did, this team would be “unbeatable”

  3. I really don’t get what the big deal is. Garrett hit him with the padded part of the helmet. And then Rudolph turns around and looks for a flag. WIMP! A guy is throwing haymakers and helmets and your turned around looking for a flag. What an absolute P. Rudolph should be suspended for lack of manliness and hiding during a fight.

    1. What utter nonsense. Garrett swung the helmet wildly. Sure, he hit him with the padded part, but that was entirely coincidental. Would you be asking what the big deal is if he hit him with the crown of the helmet, and Mason collapsed in a heap? While that didn’t happen, it easily could have. If Garrett had done that to Jimmy G, I strongly doubt you’d be questioning Jimmy’s manliness. You’d be wanting the book thrown at Garrett, especially if Jimmy was greviously injured by it.

      1. Whatever. Mason Rudolph should change the name on the back of his jersey to “No Mas.” That way you panty waists can buy his jersey and glorify his feminism.

        1. Man, I can’t tell you how hard I’m cringing from the second hand embarrassment from your post. Yikes.

          1. I’m obviously kidding Renas. Rudolph definitely has culpability for his actions to start the fight but swinging a helmet has always been a bridge too far. Garrett deserves the most severe punishment in the entire melee. The Steeler O-lineman that was kicking Garrett in the head while he was on the ground also deserves to miss a few games. Very unfortunate situation. I’m a huge Myles Garrett fan so this entire episode is pretty much a fandom killer for me.

Having said all that, Mason Rudolph is still a giant P for turning to the ref looking for a flag after Garrett hit him in the head with his helmet. That’s the type of thing where you go down swinging in a blur of violence. It’s never a good look to get hit and then hide behind the ref and your teammates.

      2. Renas… woulda coulda shoulda doesn’t matter.
He started it by grabbing his face mask first and then tried to get tough with two of his guys grabbing Garrett.
Should he have swung the helmet? No!
And he will pay for it.
But for people coming out this morning like it’s the end of the world and even asking for charges is ridiculous.
I wonder how the UFC makes it today with these softies today.
This is nothing compared to the real days of football.
And before you say a word Seb…
Play a sport and then talk. And no soccer doesn’t count!

        1. Garrett started it by dragging Mason down when the ball was out. It doesn’t have a place in sport. And yes, before you question my sport credentials, I’ve played rugby, arguably a tougher sport than football.

          1. Obviously you’ve never played football or tackled anyone.
His face was in his chest when he threw. Unless he has eyes on his back how in the world would he know that?
And why wasn’t there a flag thrown?
            Get real. DS

            1. Rugby involves tackling, you utter baboon. He held onto Mason for seconds after the ball was gone, that’s a flag normally and probably would have been if it wasn’t a nothing play, and you see a lot of former players saying the same thing. I’m sure you know better than them, though.

        2. md, this deserves a response. I will first say that Cubus was right, and my son deftly changed names and posted on another name with ease. He said this blog site was rudimentary and easily compromised. Therefore, I will continue as sebnynah, and refrain from engaging unless personally addressed. I will not engage as much as possible, but still will post, hopefully in peace. Still, I caution that my catfish will try to pass himself off as me, but since I am civil and polite, one should realize the snark is coming from the impostor. He will cry for Kaep, while I am perfectly content with JG as the Niner QB.
          .
Yes, there is a lot of macho bravado in this sport. So much so, it is virulently homophobic, so while gay players have played, they always kept it a secret.
          .
Garrett started it by body slamming Rudolph was after he released the ball. Rudolf was at fault for sticking his fingers in Garrett’s facemask, and that is what set him off. Garrett went ballistic, ripped off the helmet and used it on a player without a helmet.
          .
No matter what, this is another black eye for the league. Players lost all control, and acted like bullies and thugs. The Browns players should have shown way more restraint, since they were defeating their opponent handily.
          .
Good sportsmanship was nowhere to be found. It does not matter which sport. I am not calling for charges to be brought up, but a suspension is in order. If players are behaving like this, no wonder viewership is down. In this era of CTE awareness, hitting an unprotected player in the head with his helmet is not a good look, and can have negative repercussions.

          1. Seb,,,,, you got the first sentence out of me. The rest of the stuff you typed went unread.
Because I know it’s crap. But thanks for playing.
