The 49ers’ inactives are Patrick Willis, Quinton Patton, Chris Harper, John Skelton, Nnamdi Asomugha, Jermaine Cunningham and Joe Looney.
Michael Wilhoite starts in place of Willis.
The Texans’ inactives are Case Keenum, Lestar Jean, Tim Dobbins, Andrew Gardner, Brandon Brooks, Sam Montgomery and Tim Jamison.
Ben Jones starts in place of Brandon Brooks at right guard.
