Injury update

Running back Frank Gore did not practice today with what the club is saying is a neck injury. Gore said a couple hours ago that he still has a headache from a concussion he sustained Monday night.

Coach Mike Singletary will address Gore’s condition at the conclusion of practice — at around 3:45 p.m.

Also, safety Mark Roman (groin) did not practice today. Tight end Delanie Walker (shoulder) and tackle Barry Sims (ankle) were held out of practice again today.

As previously reported, receivers Josh Morgan (groin) and Arnaz Battle (foot) have already been ruled out of action for the game Sunday against the Rams, along with safety Dashon Goldson (knee).

UPDATE: This just in . . . the official stats have been tweaked. Jason Hill officially had six catches for 82 yards, while Isaac Bruce had two receptions for 14 yards. The scoring change stems from a play with 3:52 remaining in the fourth quarter. A 2-yard completion originally credited to Hill was actually thrown to Bruce.
