1. Shanahan can’t bench Beathard right now because he doesn’t have anyone behind him that’s better. If this continues the next 2 games I’d expect to see Savage activated on game day when they take on the Giants.

   1. No, Kaep had a 90.7 QBR with 16 TDs and only 4 Interceptions, last year he played with the Niners.
      .
      He is in the prime of his life and can still play, if not for the blackballing and illegal collusion.
      .
      Now, the Jags are seriously thinking about moving on from Bortles, and Kaep is in the conversation.
      .
      Looks like several teams would rather lose without Kaep, than win with him, the Niners included.
