Comment: SactoBob, if I had a week to prepare him to START, I'd try Olson over Weinke, simply because why not? But the only way either comes in a game is if Hill gets hurt, so it makes more sense to have a guy who's been around and won't be getting his first look at nfl speed in live game action. Why are we debating this anyway, though? Weinke is a warm body. He won't be here next year. Even money Olson won't be either. And we ain't winning anything, so who cares?

Comment: To be fair to Weinke, he didn't really slit time with DeAngelo. Williams lined up at QB in the shotgun on 7 occasions and each time they ran a keeper.

Comment: This means nothing except that you've got to have someone to take the snaps if Hill's busted finger gets twisted too much. Weinke gets his 35K a game and hopefully Hill doesn't get destroyed between now and the end of the season. Just accept it as the ugly end to an ugly season.
